In short
Everything that uses AI is paid for with credits; writing and importing are free. Free gives 250 credits once. Paid plans refill every billing month, and you can buy top-ups. You always see the cost before a big job starts, and failed work gives its credits back.
Plans
- Free: 250 credits once, which don't refill. Writing, the Assistant, a Wiki and voices. No pictures.
- Writer, $20 a month: 4,000 credits a month. Adds pictures, character sheets and inviting co-writers.
- Studio, $60 a month: 12,000 credits a month. Adds video at 480p.
- Studio Pro, $200 a month: 45,000 credits a month, video at 720p.

What things cost
- Assistant reply: at least 5 credits; a chapter-sized reply 3 to 15.
- Wiki build: about 12 credits per 1,000 words. Updates read only changed chapters.
- Picture: about 85 credits (Writer and up).
- Character voice: about 8 credits.
- Video: shown per episode in Studio before you make it.

Running low
You'll get a heads-up when 80% of your credits are used. Your balance is in the account menu and in Account settings > Plan & credits, with the date your monthly credits refill.
On a paid plan, Add credits buys a top-up: 1,000 credits for $10, 2,500 for $25 or 5,000 for $50. Top-ups last 12 months and are used after your monthly credits.
Questions
Do unused credits roll over?
Monthly credits don't; they refill each billing month. Top-up credits last 12 months.
What if something fails?
If a Wiki build, picture, voice or video fails or you cancel it, its credits go back to your balance on their own.
Can Free users buy top-ups?
No. Top-ups come with a paid plan, starting with Writer.
