In short
Everything lives in Account settings > Plan & credits. Manage billing is where you cancel, change card, switch plans and download invoices. You can get a full refund within 7 days of your first payment if you've used less than 10% of its credits.
Upgrade
From Free, click Upgrade to Writer or See all plans. Checkout is handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, so your receipt comes from them.
Already on a paid plan? Pick a bigger plan and confirm Switch to that plan. Your saved card is charged today, with credit for the unused part of your current plan.
Downgrade, cancel or change card
- Open Account settings > Plan & credits.
- Click Manage billing.
- Cancel, switch to a smaller plan or to yearly billing, change your card, or download invoices.
After you cancel, your plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for.
Refunds
- First payment: a full refund within 7 days (14 days for a yearly plan) if you've used less than 10% of its credits.
- A renewal you meant to cancel: ask within 7 days, if you haven't used that period's credits.
- Unused credit packs: within 7 days of purchase.

Delete your account
Go to Account settings > Account > Delete account and follow the steps. Deleting is permanent. If the option isn't available for your account, email us from the address you sign in with and we'll do it for you.
Questions
Do I lose my books if I cancel?
No. Your books, Wiki and pictures stay. When the paid period ends, paid features such as making new pictures stop.
Can I share a project with an editor?
Yes, on paid plans. Open the project's Share menu and Create invite link. The person you invite needs a paid plan too.
