In short
Open your book's Wiki, click Generate wiki (or Build wiki), check the credit cost and start. AxiomStory reads your chapters and drafts a page for every character, place, group and more, with facts linked to the chapter they came from. Nothing is published until you review it.
Before you start
Import or write at least a few chapters. The Wiki only uses what's in your manuscript, so the more of the book is in AxiomStory, the fuller the pages. New to the idea? Read what a story bible is and what goes in one.
Start a build
- Open your book and switch the side panel to Wiki.
- Click Generate wiki the first time, or Build wiki later.
- Choose which Chapters to read: all of them, the current chapter, or the first 5.
- Check the cost line, for example "Cost ~250 credits · You have 4,000", and click Build wiki.
If your balance is short, the button stays off and you'll see Get more credits. Building from fewer chapters costs less.
While it runs
The build moves through four steps: Reading, Writing, Checking quality and Saving draft, with an estimate of the time left. You can keep writing or close the tab; the build carries on. Cancel stops it and returns the unused credits.
What you get
A page for each character, place, group, object and important event or idea in your book. Character pages have an overview, an At a glance table (role, status, age and so on), appearance, plot and relationships, with chapter references like "Ch 2" so you can check every fact.

Questions
How many credits does a Wiki build use?
About 12 credits per 1,000 words of manuscript. The dialog holds a little more while it runs and shows the exact figure before you start. If a build fails or you cancel it, the credits come back.
Can I build a Wiki on the Free plan?
Yes, for a book or a set of chapters up to about 9,000 words. For a full novel, Writer gives you 4,000 credits a month.
Does the Wiki update when I edit a chapter?
Not on its own, so it never changes behind your back. When chapters change, the Wiki shows how many, and Update wiki reads only those chapters again, which usually costs much less than the first build.
Can I add or edit pages myself?
Yes. Use New page or New category in the Wiki, and the pencil on any page to edit it.
